Strategy of power for Venezuela 2024

Political reality 2023

A broad sector of Venezuelan society wants a political change. This year, 2023, marks the 24th anniversary since Chavismo took power. In this long period of time, the opposition sectors have tried all kinds of actions, electoral and non-electoral, to win, but they have not been successful.

Now, in the year 2023, in the midst of a deep economic crisis characterized by an unprecedented devaluation, collective impoverishment, and the forced emigration of millions of Venezuelans, the country has the only and last chance to evict Chavismo from power: the elections that according to the Constitution should be held in December 2024.

But that opposition is totally discredited due to several factors: a) the refusal to participate in the 2018 elections, which left power to Chavismo on a silver platter and b) the acts of corruption known for the handling of humanitarian aid that only the United States has officially recognized having granted the figure of 2.3 billion dollars without any of those dollars reaching Venezuela, plus the resources of billions of dollars of the country deposited in foreign banks belonging to the Central Bank, Bandes and other State financial organizations that have been seized from Venezuela and placed in the hands of the opposition and the management of large Venezuelan companies in the United States and other countries, such as PDVSA, Citgo and Colombia's Monomeros in which serious acts have been denounced of corruption. To this are added two other decisive facts: c) the inability to formulate a Program of concrete solutions to the serious problems of the country d) the lack of qualification to govern of the candidates that the pollsters present as favorites who have not been able to present a serious Government Proposal and e) the inability to present a candidacy that gathers the greatest possible support.

International support

Chavismo is not only a Venezuelan national political force but part of a powerful international political force supported by the great world powers: Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, Islamism and Cuba, among others, which provide it with decisive support military and intelligence.

Internal support

Chavismo in its 24 years in power has managed to consolidate not only the political structure of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela PSUV, but also its control over the entire structure of the State at its different levels, national and regional, and of the main institutions, the Assembly National, the Supreme Court and all the judiciary, the Armed Forces and the police.

The scenarios for the 2024 elections

In the briefly described panorama, it can be concluded that due to the opposition's weakness, Chavismo, despite being a minority in the country, has a certain possibility of winning the 2024 elections.

But is there a chance that the opposition in Venezuela could win the 2024 elections?

The only way for the opposition to win the 2024 elections is by creating a new political force, totally different from the current discredited and corrupt political parties that refused to participate in the 2018 elections and have appropriated the resources of the nation abroad and a totally different candidate is chosen from those mentioned in the corrupt, purchased polls, which in those same opinion studies have the rejection of the majority of the population. Indeed, the winner in those same surveys is always the "None" option mentioned in the survey.

A unique opposition candidacy is not possible in political reality. But if the new opposition force were to be constituted, the candidate of that new opposition force should gather the support of the greatest possible number of individuals and institutions.

The strategy of power 2024

In order to confront the great international power of Chavismo in the elections in Venezuela, supported by the great powers, Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, Islamism and Cuba, etc., it is necessary that the new Venezuelan opposition, completely different from the parties involved in corruption, gain the support of the Western world.

This new political force must be based on ethics, with a Program of concrete solutions to the country's serious problems, a Program that must be massively disseminated for the understanding of the entire population.

The sustenance of the new political force must be mainly in the support of professional associations and in the workers' movement, which is the only social force with a massive capacity for social mobilization.

The new political force must duly instruct and train its representatives in the more than 14,000 existing polling stations in the country. This represents a great logistical and organizational effort.

The possibility of manipulation of electronic voting and advantage actions are important concerns in the reality of Venezuela. But the massive vote of the opposition and the ability to demonstrate victory at the tables would make any attempt to ignore the reality of that victory difficult.

The internal power factors in Venezuela and international have the decisions in their hands. The future of Venezuela from 2024 will depend on it.
