Rafael Correa might transform Ecuador in a Latin American intellectual center

Ecuador is looking for professors and teachers in America and Europe to strengthen education in that country. It's an interesting experiment, as it seeks to bring the talent to the country and not as other nations have done that, on the contrary, have sent their students abroad.
Japan in the early twentieth century sent to the United States and Europe too many of his students. In Latin America, Venezuela, in the seventies, made a similar program and sent thousands of students to the best universities in the world. The problem was that many did not return because the country then did not give them the opportunity to work.

The initiative to bring professors of the best institutions of the world to other country is doubly interesting, because it creates the conditions for the development of an own intellectual structure with development potential. For that reason, the initiative of the Ecuador President, Rafael Correa, might transform that country in a Latin American intellectual center at medium and long term.
