Philosophy of Science, 2 essays

Science has reached its highest development in the last hundred years. Incredible dreams of the past for men have become a reality: to fly like birds, traveling beneath the seas, the automobile, the conquest of space, the development of medicine and new energy sources such as oil and nuclear energy, among other breakthroughs.
But what is the meaning of science?
Does knowledge for knowledge? Or knowledge to raise the moral and material quality of human beings?
What should be the ethics of science?
Man conquers outer space but still has not conquered the land. Overpopulation, poverty, pollution, famine, epidemics, destruction of forests, seas and rivers are growing problems in the modern world.
The challenge of science should be to create conditions for a better and more just world.

Then I present two essays on the philosophy of science:
An important contribution to the human wellbeing
The evolution of the scientific knowledge, pure and applied science, philosophy of science
